ABOUT US
We are one of the largest Slovak egg producers, which cares not only about the origin and quality of compound feedingstuffs but also about the happy life of our hens.
The production of hen eggs has a more than 20-year tradition in the region of Veľký Krtíš. Babičkin dvor owns 8 egg farms in the region, in which they gradually try to abolish the use of caged farming and thus ensure more comfort and space for egg-laying hens. Egg-laying hens are in close contact with their farmers, and we take care of them in 36 breeding halls, 6 farming halls, and 1 organic trade hall. They thus have better supervision and a better quality of life than their colleagues in large-scale farms.
Farmers’ Charter
By 2025, the company Babičkin dvor, a. s. (JSC) will have reduced the share of enriched cages from the current 72% to 23%.
